There are several grant programmes for international students who wish to come and study in France. Depending on your home country and chosen course of study, application procedures, selection criteria and the method of awarding scholarships may vary according to the donors or exchange programs involved.
Merit grants
EIFFEL for PhD level
Amount
€1700/month.
In addition, the costs of several services (healthcare, cultural activities) are covered.
Eligibility
- 30 years old maximum at the time of application (born before March 1990)
- Only foreign candidates are eligible (candidates with dual nationality, one of which French, are ineligible)
Supporting documents
- Résumé/CV (1-2 pages)
- Ranking – for the academic level of the applicant
- Professional project (supported by exterior person: ie compagny, association, professor, …)
- Research projet (in French or English - 1-5 pages)
- Global funding plan for the PhD
- Co-direction or double degree agreement
- Copy of the passport
- Language certificates
Procedure
- Applications are selected and submitted by the institution in which the student will be enrolled during the following academic year
- Submit your application to the head or secretariat of the chosen master’s level training program at Montpellier SupAgro
Calendar
- Applications open: 28 September 2020
- Deadline for submitting applications (dsa-sril-eiffel@supagro.fr ): 4 December 2020
- Deadline for the receipt of applications by Campus France: 8 January 2021
- Announcement of results: 22 March 2021

Amount
