International students are our most effective ambassadors in their home countries. This is why we do our utmost to welcome them under the best possible conditions.
Of the 1650 students enrolled in the school, over 27% are from a foreign country located across five continents. In total, over 80 nationalities are represented on the school’s campuses.
A dedicated team and the students involved in the reception unit for foreign students offer various services to help newcomers settle down and become integrated into life in Montpellier:
- personalized welcome by a student sponsor at the train station or airport
- welcome meeting and a welcome drink in the first semester
- getting set up in one of the 3 student residences located near the campus
- assistance with administrative procedures (visa, housing, insurance, opening a bank account...)
- follow-up throughout the student’s stay in the case of administrative, financial or academic difficulties
Culture & sports
Several activities are also offered by the Circle of Students (Cercle des Etudiants), the Sports Office (BDS) and the Arts Office (BDA) and various clubs to involve international students in cultural events and sports, student parties...
