Language & Culture Summer School

• To improve your proficiency in French, which is necessary to successfully continue your studies in France
• To introduce students to French culture through immersion in a rich programme of cultural and social activities.

• 80 hours of French language teaching per month

• Reinforced French language classes for beginners.

Upon arrival, students take a placement test in order to be placed in the most appropriate group according to their language level. The maximum group size is 15 students per class, with an average of 12.

Outside the classroom, students participate in organized activities designed to help enhance their language skills through immersion in French cultural events.

You will be able to discover Montpellier and the Occitanie (former Languedoc-Roussillon region) through the social and cultural activities programmed. You will visit the Cité of Carcassonne, the largest medieval city in Europe with its walls still intact. Another destination is the city of Nîmes, home to one of the world's best preserved Roman coliseums. Outside Montpellier you will see Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, ranked one of the most beautiful villages in France, and the UNESCO World Heritage bridge across a nearby gorge known as Le Pont du Diable.

The fee for the entire programme (French language immersion course and cultural activities) is  €880* per month.

* Cost of food and accommodation are not included in this fee.
