Located just steps away from l'Institut Agro Montpellier's Gaillarde campus, our three residence halls —"Les Cigales", "Les Hameaux" & "Soleil"— have a combined capacity of over 640 occupancies.
The halls offer residents a sense of community as well as numerous practical services. All are within walking distance of the heart of Montpellier. Students from other schools can apply if rooms remain available.

Note
Housing is attributed only for one academic year, with occupancy until July 31st for those not enrolled at L'Institut Agro, and mid-August for students registered at L'Institut Agro. The submission of an application does not guarantee that you will be alloted a place. If your booking is accepted, you will receive confirmation (confirmation d’attribution) from the Residence Halls Office.
Important—A guarantor is mandatory!
From 1st September 2021, a "guarantor" will be required on signing the rental contract in order to enter one of the residences of L'institut Agro | Montpellier SupAgro (See this explanation of the role of a guarantor:).
Two possible methods
- A third person in France offers to be the guarantor for the student and has to fill out and sign the Act of guarantee (in French), which has a unlimited period, and needs to attach documents that prove his/her identity, address, professional activity and financial resources (See Annex II, in French).
- Students aged from 18 - 30 years can either apply to the organisation Visale (in French) to act as their guarantor, or can request an advance of a deposit guarantee from Loca-Pass (in French).
International students who are registered on a programme at L'institut Agro | Montpellier SupAgro must provide this guarantor at the latest one month after arrival in the residence.
