World-class scientific networks

Update : 02/29/2024

L'Institut Agro Montpellier enjoys a first-class scientific environment. It maintains relations with many academic facilities as well as regional and national research organizations.

Indeed, Montpellier hosts one of the most powerful clusters of agricultural research and higher education in the world today. It is firmly oriented towards the Mediterranean and tropical regions.

This cluster, which includes local universities, has been driven by a strong inter-institutional structuring dynamic since its creation. At the European level, the emphasis is on establishing networks and consortiums.

Montpellier SupAgro is the gateway to:

  • The «french sillicon Valley» for agricultural science: in Montpellier, one of the highest concentrations of agricultural research and education institutions in the world.
  • Cutting-edge research and technology equipment: on-site research and pursuit of excellence in agricultural science through numerous research platforms.
  • Prestigious national and international research clusters.
