Etudiantes sur le campus de La Gaillarde

A dynamic campus

A campus deeply rooted in its home territory and open to the world

Update : 01/09/2020

The historic Montpellier SupAgro campus is being transformed to meet the needs of new training programmes which require open, shared and connected space. These changes are being made while respecting the superb environmental quality of the campus, and by maintaining coherence between the establishment’s different sites.

Montpellier SupAgro shares its historic campus with the INRAE Occitanie-Montpellier Centre. One of the most visible elements of this lush, green campus is a vast vineyard, an emblem of one of the establishment’s key areas of interest. The campus has extensive sports facilities widely used by students.

The campus is currently entering an internal restructuring phase that respects the environmental quality of the site. The "connected school core" has two major facilities: the "@rchipel", or learning centre, which through its new spaces —dedicated to creativity, work, meetings, one-stop access to the many digital and educational resources on campus— accompagnies new forms of learning and work; and the "AgroForum" in the historic castle, a new place for all campus users to meet, discuss and work.

These facilities is complemented by an immersive auditorium, intended for training courses open to geographically distant audiences. These new facilities are accessible to student associations; they house a range of competitions and contests promoting innovation, as well as events organized by AgroFabLab, which is currently being created.
